 Hillary and the Far Left by Jim Butler, President, SCRA November 2007 GunNews Hillary Clinton has been a big supporter of various left wing organizations over the years. She arranged to give $15,000 to the National Lawyers Guild (NGL) -- an organization founded in the 1930's as a branch of the Communist Party USA -- when she chaired the New World Foundation according to J. R. Nyquist, a contributing editor to the World Net Daily and author of the the Fourth World War. The Committee on un-American activities has labeled the NLG as a Communist front group. David Mark Price, author of Secret (Sunset Research Group, 608 N. West St., #206, Wichita, KS 67203, $10 post-paid) the detailed account of Bill and Hillary Clinton's Marxist connections says, "The NLG makes no pretenses about its extremism. At the close of one NLG convention in Austin, Texas, the delegates sang the famed Communist Internationale anthem, whose lyrics include the verse, 'Tis the final conflict, let each stand his place. The international Soviet shall be the human race'." Moderates in the Guild have accused their leaders of conducting Guild affairs as though they were a committed Marxist Leninist entity, according to the Congressional Record of March 3, 1978. Price said Mrs. Clinton also donated $5,000 to the Committee in support of the People of El Salvador (CISPES) even though it has been classified as a communist front organization. This is the US branch of a worldwide apparatus supporting the FLMN guerrillas in El Salvador. In a July 1993 edition of the New American, William Grigg, quotes US Special Forces veteran Joe Cortina, as saying "People need to understand the full impact of what Mrs. Clinton has done in supporting the FMLN. This is a full fledged terrorist group that has killed and mutilated children." Cortina adds, "I've been in Salvadorian hospitals and seen children who are missing arms and legs. You can maim a lot of kids for $5,000." These Salvadorian communists funded by Hillary specialized in planting mines disguised as toys for the purpose of crippling rather than killing, forcing parents to stop their anti-Communist endeavors and care for their maimed children, according to Price. The Center for Constitutional Studies (CFCS) co-founded by National Lawyers Guild radical William Kunstler, has also been funded by Hillary. Kunstler's agenda and the direction of CFCS is most evident as Price illustrates: "On the March 25, 1993 broadcast of Prime Time Live, footage was shown of Kunstler doing such things as giving a speech in front of the old Soviet flag while American communists cheered, explaining why he thought the assassination of Bobby and John Kennedy were commendable, applauding the murder of five policemen, and pronouncing why he was overjoyed to defend those charged with the 1993 terror bombing of the World Trade Center in New York." The largest donation on record is the $20,000 she doled out to the Christic Institute. According to Price, this organization specializes in coordinating lawsuits aimed at paralyzing and bankrupting American Patriots who are active in anti-communist endeavors. In her Legal Terrorism - the Truth About the Christic Institute (New World Publishing Ltd., 1989), Susan Huck states, "They (Christics) admit to collaboration with the Communists, and freely express their determination to protect the Communist government of Nicaragua. What they really want to punish is vigorous opposition to communism. The rest of the world aches and cries for the opportunity to rid itself of communist rule, while certain citizens of the freest society on earth bend every effort to preserving and extending that rule." The Clinton's have relied on supporters of the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS) to fill their administrative vacancies. This Marxist organization was founded in 1963 with a million dollar grant from Communist Party member Samuel Rubin's estate. IPS has dedicated itself to supporting Marxist philosophies the world over, even in spite of the fall of the Soviet Union. IPS has been investigated by the FBI for espionage, murder, terrorism kidnapping, arson, treason and subversion. Both Clintons are moral and financial contributors. "The FBI has compiled some 2,705 pages of information which documents how IPS is a violent and subversive organization," says Price. "The FBI reports the IPS personnel are linked to the pro-communist anti-US SDS group, the Weathermen terrorist group which was involved in strategic sabotage, and the Progressive Labor Party which was founded by individuals expelled from the communist Party USA for following the Chinese Communist line," he adds. Nearly every activity, every plan every study, etc. hatched from the Clinton White House think tank (read IPS) involves the disarmament of American, both as a nation and as individuals. Firearms have been blamed as a cause of almost all the ills of society, rising health care costs, street crime, drug crime, gang violence, civil disobedience, the disintegration of the family, and on and on and on. Our nation's national defense has been seriously eroded under the Clinton administration. Part of the reason that Hillary has a tendency to support leftist groups is that she trained under noted lawyer Robert Truhaft, who along with his wife Jessica Mitford, have been identified as Communist Party members by US Government investigations, while she was a law student. David Brock, in the Seduction of Hillary Rodham, quotes historian Stephen Schartz saying, "Truhaft is a man who dedicated his entire legal career to advancing the agenda of the Soviet Communist Party and the KGB." Truhaft's wife, known in her native United Kingdom as "Red Mitford", perhaps to distinguish her from her sister Unity Mitford, who had become infatuated with Hitler, condemned the Hungarian Freedom Fighters who threw Molotov cocktails at Soviet tanks as "grasping Neo-Facist types." Hillary has never repudiated her connection with these people or her connection with the Communist movement in America. Remarkable in this day and age when political figures are allowed such little privacy.
