Soros helps fund U.N. Grab.

The U.N. anti-self-defense movement plans to destroy American's Second Amendment Right to keep and bear arms in 2001 was dramatically derailed by the efforts of John R. Bolton, then U.S. Under Secretary of State.

The anti-gun prohibitionist U.N. crowd has been reenergized by the prospect of an Obama administration in the White House to assist their efforts to disarm American citizens.

This is a major reason why Hungarian-born socialist billionaire George Soros (who was born George Schwartz), the sugar daddy for gun control schemes here and abroad, has backed anti-gun Barack Obama since his U.S. Senate run, with his vast fortune.  He has done this by funneling huge amounts of cash through his Open Society Institute (OSI), which operates in at least 50 countries, to bankroll gun control schemes around the world.

Soros hired an experienced activist, Rebecca Peters, a central figure in disarming the people of Australia, and a leader in the effort to ban all privately owned firearms throughout the world.  Peters is such an anti-gun extremist that she even argues that police should be disarmed.  "When police begin to carry guns, that motivates criminals to carry guns," she complained.  I'm sure if she had to patrol the South side of Chicago alone in a marked squad car, she would change her mind in a hurry.  Elitists like her must live in some kind of a utopian dream world.  It's obvious that she doesn't understand the criminal mind.  One of the things that terrifies criminals the most is an armed citizen who is willing to defend themselves and their families.

"Under the umbrella of the United Nations, there are now more than 500 organizations working day and night trying to ban civilian ownership of firearms," warns NRA's Wayne LaPierre.

In America, however, Peters and U.N. gun control efforts have been frustrated so far thanks in part to President Bush's U.N. appointees, Under Secretary of State John Bolton, former Congressman Bob Barr and former U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland, Faith Whittlesey.

Soros, through his immense wealth spending on political issues, has drowned out the voice of American voters.  Soros has spent tens, if not hundreds of millions, to further a left-wing agenda that promotes socialism, communism, abortion, feminism, gun control, abolition of capital punishment, voting rights for felons, legalization of drugs, euthanasia and gay marriages among others.  Now you know where so many attacks on traditional Western values which so divide American Society today came from.

All these agendas are being promoted by a man who in 1988 was convicted of insider trading in France and was fined two million dollars.  Soros has a reputation as a ruthless currency trader who often deals on the edge of illegality.  George Soros is on record to increase taxes for many Americans.  Yet he keeps much of his vast fortune on the Dutch Island of Curazao, where his Quantum Fund is registered.  This means he can dodge many U.S. corporate taxes even though he operates in New York City.  He also operates a lucrative real estate company from Bermuda that allows him to avoid U.S. taxes.  Soros is also the prime financier of websites on the internet that consistently attack and smear conservative and traditional Americans.  Soros has also expressed contempt for the Founding Documents of our country.

Soros, with all of his vast wealth, is attempting to buy the 2008 presidential election and put Barack Obama and Joe Biden, the two most rabid anti-gun Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates in American history, into the White House.  Unfortunately, the average American is unaware of what this man is up to at this time.

If Obama is elected President, the three "citizens of the world", Obama, Soros and Peters working in concert will form a toxic trio that bodes ill not only to American's freedom, but also to other people throughout the world as well.

The last century was one of the  bloodiest in world history due to mass killings  by governments that had first disarmed their people.  Remember Nazi Germany and the Holocaust?  Unfortunately, they weren't the only country that made the 20th Century so horrendous in the loss so many lives.
